Terms.
What you get when you buy Drawerful.
Drawerful is a Mac app made and sold by Shashank Mahajan, an individual developer in Bengaluru, India ("we"). By buying or using it, you agree to these terms.
Who sells it
Drawerful is made by Shashank Mahajan. Purchases are processed by our online reseller and merchant of record, Dodo Payments, which also handles payment, tax and invoices for your order. Dodo Payments' own buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
What's free and what you pay for
- Free, with no time limit: downloading the app, scanning any number of drives, reviewing what's stored twice, searching, and practising on pretend drives.
- With a licence: freeing up space (setting copies aside) and moving files to another drive.
- Always free, licence or not: putting back anything you set aside, and deleting set-aside copies for good. We never hold your files hostage, even after a refund or if you lose your key.
The price
One payment, no subscription. The price is shown on drawerful.app and at checkout: US$29 plus any local sales tax or VAT, or ₹1,499 including GST for buyers in India. Launch offers, when they run, are shown at checkout with their limits.
Your licence
- After you pay, you receive a licence key by email. It carries the name you bought with.
- One licence covers one household, for personal use, on up to 2 Macs (for example a laptop and a desktop).
- Your licence never expires. The version you buy keeps working, with no account and no online check-ins.
- Every 1.x update is included. If there is ever a version 2, owners will be offered a discounted upgrade, and version 1 keeps working for anyone who doesn't upgrade.
- Please don't share or publish your key. A key that appears publicly may stop working in a later update.
- "Keeps working" means nothing in the app switches off. It isn't a promise that future versions of macOS will never change in ways that affect it.
Your files
Drawerful reads your drives on your Mac and sends nothing anywhere (see Privacy). It never deletes anything on its own: what you free up is set aside on the same drive until you put it back or delete it for good, or, only if you turn on clean-up, until 30 days pass. It never offers the last copy of a file.
Even so, you are responsible for your own data. Keep a backup of anything you can't afford to lose, and check what you set aside before deleting it for good.
Refunds
If Drawerful isn't right for you, write to us within 30 days of buying for a full refund, no questions asked. Details are on the Refunds page.
What we're responsible for
Drawerful is provided as it is. We work hard to make it safe and correct, but we can't promise it will be free of mistakes or suit every setup. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about Drawerful is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms, for example when the app gains new features. The date at the bottom shows the latest version. Changes don't take away a licence you've already bought.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka having jurisdiction, without affecting the consumer protections of the country you live in.
